Cage Fitness Featured on ‘The Biggest Loser’

   January 20th, 2011

Right now, I’m at the 2011 SHOT Show in Vegas and I’ll talk more about that later, but I just wanted to mention Tuesday night’s (1/18) episode of NBC’s The Biggest Loser. It showed one of the contestants and his daughter doing the Cage Fitness program. Dan was introduced to Cage Fitness by his daughter, Madelyn, who does tae kwon do at the ICAN Martial Arts Studio in Oklahoma a proud franchisee of Cage Fitness.

It is great to see the program I helped develop gaining traction, but it was even more exciting to see the relationship Dan and his daughter had and how our program was something they could do together!

I want to encourage Madelyn to keep her dad on his toes. There is a 4 minute interview with Dan and his daughter on NBC’s website in case you want to see a clip of them doing Cage Fitness together:
Dan and Madelyn

I’ll be back with a full blog entry after SHOT Show.

Matt, that’s awesome it was on a show like that. I wanted to get online and just buy the materials and videos to do myself and I didn’t see where I could do that. Just wondering if that is possbile, I am going to try to get back into shape this year somehow. God Bless

My mother is 82 years old (please don’t let her know I told you her age), and is an avid fan of yours. She loves boxing so much that she will stay glued to her tv set and cheer you on. She is now in failing health and told me she would love to meet you before she dies. I have never seen her this way before. You are her boxing hero and I guess we all need a hero in life. She lives in Crestview, Florida with my younger sister, Nancy. If you can find it in your heart and time to say hi to her let me know. Thank you very much for your time.

Ralph Gleason Says:

Just wanted to say that it greatly encourages me when someone with the social status of yourself gives glory to Jesus Christ. May God bless you and your family my brother.

Cage Fitness has done WONDERS for me, internally and externally. Thank you for the work you did and continue to do on this program. I really enjoy the changes in routine–it’s never the same class twice, and that is exactly what I need to keep me interested. All the best.

Bud Stonebraker Says:

Matt, good news on the show. Did I hear right that Rulon Gardiner is on that now?

Hey I’m a pastor in Hawaii right down the road from where you’re training. Would you visit us for our Sunday service and maybe give your testimony? You’d be a blessing to our church.

Aloha and Agape,
