Hi Matt, I love you as a fighter and have followed most of your career. I am a conservative independent and a veteran of the US Navy. The Patriot Act is one of the worst pieces of legislation in this countries history. Do your research and Quit watching Fox News. Neither Bush or Obama are deserving of praise as they have both helped to destroy the sovereignty of our nation. However, there are true patriots like Ron Paul who do have the best interest of the USA and not the “global community” in mind.

I like GSP, hes a good athlete and a class act, he won the last two fights because Kos and Shields were afraid of him. Shields had a chance and he realized it to late in the fight. Yea he did have to fight with one eye but shields is the one that nocked that eye out, its not like he entered the octagon with a bad eye, thats what happens when you fight. Get sombody in there that isnt afraid to take him to the ground and I think itll be a different story, the last two fights GSP only has a jabs with a few over hand rights.

hey chris, i agree obama is not doing anything. but i hope you don’t think that by simply electing someone from another party (republicans or tea?) things will change overnight? american factories went overseas during the clinton and both bush adminstrations also. you can be angry with china but it’s american corporations that voluntarily moved over there and chose to lay off workers and it’s american ceo’s that don’t want to pay american wages and give themselves big bonuses. both parties voted to bail out the banks and give socialism to the wealthy everytime they messed up.

i can respect you be against socialized healthcare but i don’t hear any of these ppl opposed to socialized health care criticize insurance companies for denying claims. my mom pays taxes and has worked since she was 16 (now she’s almost 60), she’s never collected unemployment, and her insurance company refuses to pay a lot of her hospital bills which amount to around $6K. that hits people hard and yet no one is critical of the greedy insurance companies! i’ve gone to the hospital once in my life 2 years ago, have insurance, and i owe a bill of 1k b/c my insurance doesn’t want to cover all the charges. what’s the point in me paying for private insurance and only going to the hospital once in my 33 years of existence if they are looking for ways to deny paying the bill?

One more thing, Obama is not restoring this country… What he is doing is like Me holding a grenade in my hand it blowing up and you put a bandaid on it and say its working…The healthcare plan is a joke….The taxes are a joke…The putting america back to work is a joke..Were borrowing that money from China and are not going to have the funds to pay them back…HE IS NOT FIXING ANYTHING….YOU PEOPLE ARE BLINDED CAUSE HE IS SUCH A GREAT PUBLIC SPEAKER…..WHAT ABOUT ALL THAT HOOPLAH ABOUT AMERICAN FACTORYS THAT GO OVER SEAS, WILL HAVE TO PAY SUCH A RIDICOULOUS TAX THAT IT WOULD BE BETTER FOR THEM TO STAY…NEVER HAPPENED AMERICA NEEDS THESE FACTORYS….ITS ALL A BUNCH OF HOOPLAH…IT MAY NOT HAPPEN IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF YEARS, BUT ONE DAY THE GOVT WILL NO LONGER HAVE THE FUNDS TO HELP EVERYONE IN THIS NATION..THEY WILL BE FORCED TO TURN THEIR BACKS ON EVERYONE…WHEN THAT HAPPENS YOU BETTER KNOW THY NEIGHBOR….THIS NATION IS LOSING GROUND IN THE WORLD..GOODLUCK TO ALL OF YOU WHO BELEIVE OBAMA IS DOING SOMETHING GOOD.. Matt I have to somewhat agree with you on this article I have actually put posts up here and they never got posted for what ever reason I dont know….But GSP I beleive is trying to finish fights in his own way, He wants something to just happen instead of pushing it to where it needs to go.. He was throwing alot of Overhand rights and stuff like that which hasnt been utilized in alot of his fights…GSP is a great champ, I dont know why everyone knocks him saying he needs to move up…You of all people should know what its like to have people tell you, you need to move up cause youve domniated everyone.. Didnt you defend your belt nine times and welterweight? Were people telling Chuck to move up? If anyone needs to move up it is honestly Anderson Silva since he has fought at 205lb and was ridicously succesful…GSP actually trains with guys that are 185, he trains with Marquart, or however you spell it…He probably rolls around with them guys on the ground and realizes he doesnt have the body or the size to do it…He is not so much just physically stronger than everyone there..Look at Alves..Look at Anthony Johnson…He just utilizes what hes got better than anyone else..But he is alot stronger than i would say 85% of the welterweights….
Now on another subject, My opinion is my opinion and like the saying goes some stink…But I beleive you dont train the way you used to.. You seem to be more into cardio and endurance than the power and force you used to bring to the table….But its seemed to be that way the last couple of years…What do the others think on here…Hope this gets posted because I would like to see some feedback..

not to get political b/c i think dems & republicans are both morally corrupt and greedy but i’m not sure why you think bush laid the groundwork to find bin laden. he closed down the cia station that was set up to hunt bin laden in 2006 (http://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/04/washington/04intel.html). he also removed soldiers/detectives in afghanistan and deployed them to iraq in 2003 instead. bill clinton did the same thing – he didn’t put manpower to finding bin laden in the 90’s and focused on other villains that weren’t as pressing. just my 2 cents.

also i hope you are against welfare – oil companies get $4 billion in free handouts every year and avoid paying taxes. please consider contacting our senators mark kirk and dick durbin ask them to cut the welfare checks.
