i dont belive dan hardy deserves a shot either but its a way for matt to get some momentum going again i would love to see hughes fight fitch i wanted that fight for sooooooooooooo long ur styles match perfect and hes coming off a loss and the bj penn fight which i think penn won that would be a fight

Happy new year Matt. I hope that 2012 brings you and the family some real happy times. I really hate it when fighters call out other fighters like that. I find it tacky and lacking in respect. Dan Hardy, is not at this stage in his career, in a position to be calling out Matt Hughes whatsoever. And I am an Englishman. Matt you are an inspiration to MMA fans worldwide. Just because someone like Dan Hardy is “calling Matt out” doesn’t mean that Matt is somehow obligated to fight him. This isn’t the elementary school playground. I don’t think Dan Hardy has earned the right to fight Matt. The guy is coming off of 4 losses in a row. Calling Matt out now just smacks of desperation because Hardy seems to be very close to being cut from the UFC; so he needs to do something to draw attention to himself and build hype.
