Fights at the Montgomery County Fair

Well, first of all I have a prayer request, we just found out that our dear friend, Bobbie, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. So we just wanted ask everyone to pray for healing and strength for her and her family. This Friday night we’ve got fights at the county fair grounds in Butler, IL. If anybody around the area wants tickets, please contact Myrna Moore at 217-272-4489. I will be there with several other HIT Squad members. Everybody is probably interested in my training, it’s going well and that’s all I want to say at this point. I don’t know if any of you are following US soccer (football), but they just won and I’m glad they are doing well. This Saturday night, I’m going to meet up with some buddies and one of those buddies owes me some money. He frequents the website and I’ve even linked to some of his stories from time to time. So it will be nice to see him and as always, he will give me cash in hand. As a lot of the forum members know I am a little bit of a gambler and I just got done ordering my 20 cases of ammunition from Patrick Flanigan on a bet he lost. On that note, here is the Bible verse for this week:

Hey little buddy, why dont you tell your fans about the bets I have won? What about the shooting bet? You know the one you lost some fight shorts and gloves to? They look so pretty hanging in my gym!

Oh wait, I almost forgot the bet about you being able to break my guard in 60 sec?? I forget, how did that work out again??

MATT, JUST WANTED TO COME IN AGREEMENT WITH U GUYS FOR YOUR FRIEND BOBBY! IM THANKFUL FOR THE POWER IN PRAYER OF AGREEMENT AND A OMNIPRESENT GOD!! WE HAVE A ACTS 19:11-12 MINISTRY, WE WOULD LOVE TO SEND THEM GUYS ONE IF POSSIBLE?

Just prayed for your friend Bobby and her family. Our God is a mighty God! Thank you Jesus that you were wounded that we might be healed. I will continue to keep all of them in prayer.

I want to think god for more than getting wounded but dieing on a old rugged cross for our sins. Hate your having to train for a fight I’m watch the bucks grow there horns. And one queston for you. Who’s going to win brock or shane and were do you see the fight going ? 20 boxs of ammo that’s more than 100 bocks. Lol

Hey Matt just wanted to say that it was a great experience fighting with your guy Sean Tepen. It was my first MMA fight and it was very educational on what I need to work on for my upcoming fight Aug. 21st in Glen Carbon. I have followed your career in the UFC is what got me started in wanting to get in the octagon. Being my first time and only watching it on tv I had a few butterflies, and Sean is a pretty big guy. I thought of some of the guys you had fought in the past to help me get over the nervousness. Thanks again for having the event at the Montgomery County Fair it was awesome.

Matt I want to say I look forward to watching you fight in ufc 117. I also want to say sorry about your friend. I would like to take this chance to say you are my idol. You are a down to earth family man even after making it to the ufc. You are a phenomenal wrestler. You have inspired me to try and get a wrestling team in my school.

My wife is currently battling breast cancer, as such, I appreciate the need for prayers. I will say one for your friend and the countless others who are battling this terrible disease. Good luck in your training.
